OUR STORY
From Surviving to Serving
This Work Chose us
We have turned our lived experience into professional practice by combining formal training in social work, counselling, and case management with real experiences of feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unheard.
Our Purpose
To walk beside people - not ahead of them.
To offer trauma-informed, evidence-based, and soul-honouring support that’s real, responsive, and grounded in empathy and care.
Our Core Values
We value authenticity, empathy, and fairness, drawing on both lived experience and professional practice to support others with compassion and integrity.
Our approach is authentic, realistic, and centered on empowering individuals and upholding social justice.
OUR METHOD
No Bullshit. Just Real Support
Our journey into human support began from personal survival, navigating the impact of trauma, grief, loneliness, and rebuilding life from the ground up with limited personal and external supports. These experiences shaped not only a professional calling but a deep, lived understanding of what it feels like to hurt, to heal, and to hope again.

Backed by formal qualifications and extensive trauma-informed training, our work is both heart-led and evidence-based. We do not offer "Band-Aid solutions" and are not risk-averse to trauma or complex issues.
Many people reach for help repeatedly but never actually get anywhere. Different faces, same outcomes, exhaustion, invalidation, and still not the support you were looking for. We offer real connection, real strategies, and real care.
At Real Life Emotions, we walk alongside you. We don't fix you, label you, or sugarcoat reality. We meet you where you are with honesty, respect, and belief in your strength, supporting you to create action plans and goal-oriented changes that feel right for your life.

We get you off the trauma and services treadmill and into consistent, grounded humanistic support. No more repeating your story to new faces. No more being passed around or told you’re “not quite the right fit.” We see how systems can exhaust you, how help can feel just out of reach, and how healing starts to feel like a moving target. That ends here.

Less burnout. More breakthroughs. No more running in circles.
You’ve done the hard part. You’ve survived. You’ve tried. You’ve kept showing up, even when systems didn’t.
